Tragedy struck in Kwara State as police confirmed that two worshippers were killed and one person injured following an attack on a church.
According to reports, the incident occurred during a service at a local church in the state when armed assailants stormed the premises. The attackers opened fire, leaving two congregants dead on the spot and another critically injured. The injured victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Kwara State Police Command has since launched an investigation into the attack.
