Popular Nigerian chef and social media personality, Chef Dammy, has issued a fiery response to critics who have been bombarding her with hateful messages. In a strongly worded statement shared via her social media platforms, she demanded that trolls “keep their hate out of her DMs,” expressing frustration over the relentless negativity she’s received.
Chef Dammy, who rose to fame following her controversial attempt at a Guinness World Record cook-a-thon, has remained a polarizing figure online. While some fans admire her resilience and creativity, others have continued to question her credibility and intentions.
In her latest post, she did not mince words: “I’m tired of the hate. If you don’t like me, that’s fine. But keep your hate out of my DMs.” The message was accompanied by screenshots of abusive messages she’s received, highlighting the emotional toll of online harassment.
Despite the backlash, Chef Dammy reaffirmed her commitment to her craft and her fans. She emphasized that she will not be bullied into silence or submission. “I’m here to cook, to inspire, and to grow. If that threatens you, that’s your problem,” she wrote.
Her response has sparked a wave of support from fellow creatives and fans, many of whom praised her courage and called for more kindness in online spaces.
