Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, has reopened its doors for worship just days after a violent bandit attack that plunged the community into grief.

During the first service since the incident, a video captured a pastor addressing a visibly smaller congregation, as worshippers cautiously returned to the sanctuary five days after the assault.

The attack took place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, when armed men stormed the church during a meeting. In the chaos, two worshippers were killed, one was injured, and 39 others were abducted.

Despite the devastating loss, church leaders and the remaining members chose to gather again, demonstrating resilience and unwavering faith by resuming services in the same place where tragedy struck.
