Former Big Brother Naija housemate Adekunle Olopade has accused officers of the Nigerian Police Force of unlawfully detaining him for eight hours, claiming the ordeal felt like a near-death experience.
Adekunle shared the disturbing account on Snapchat, stating that he was “kidnapped, harassed, and handcuffed” by police operatives. He did not specify the reason for the alleged detention but emphasized that the situation could have ended tragically had it not been for what he described as divine intervention.
“This story could have ended differently, and no one would have known. But glory be to God, I’m alive today,” he wrote.
The reality TV personality, known for his appearance on the “Level Up” season of BBNaija, did not disclose the location or circumstances leading to the incident. However, his post has sparked concern among fans and human rights advocates, many of whom are demanding accountability and transparency from law enforcement.
